I am a retired General Practitioner who qualified in 1977 from Dundee
University Medical School and after doing a number of hospital posts, started
as a GP in Shepton Mallet in 1981. After being, in addition a partner in the
practice, the Managing Medical Officer of HMP Cornhill from 1986 to 1996,
followed by being a Medical Officer to the England Rugby Football Union from
1993 to 2004, started to perform Botulinum treatments. I have been doing
Botulinum treatments since 2004 and in 2019 completed an advanced
practitioner training in Botulinum treatments. I retired from General Practice in
2016, but continue to be medically insured for my aesthetic work. Because I
have never advertised and only get new patients by word of mouth
recommendation, I am only as good as my last treatment and that is very
important to me and thus to my patients. A professional and clinically
competent practitioner, I know listening to a patients expectations is key to a
good result and a friendly compassionate approach is fundamental to my
work. No question, concern, is too trivial to answer and an easy availability
both before and after treatment is paramount. I very much look forward to
meeting new clients and getting to know them.
