This course covers the technique for performing a spray tanning treatment illustrated by clear photographs. This course will teach you the essential skills that you need to know to offer a professional spray tanning treatment and includes a practical training session and assessment. Health and safety guidance is covered as well as contra-actions and contra-indications and aftercare.
Providing a spray tanning treatment is a simple way to give clients a safe alternative to a UV tan.
This GTi Spray Tanning course follows the National Occupational Standards and covers reception, consultation and ventilation. It also covers anatomy & physiology, contra-indications and contra-actions, skin types, preparing for treatment, technique and aftercare.
The GTi Spray Tanning Award is accredited by the Guild of Beauty Therapists, the UK’s leading professional beauty trade body.
The course is beautifully written and accompanied by images and diagrams. Upon completion of the online theory modules, you will receive a PDF manual which you can refer back to.

The course is fully accredited by the Guild of Beauty Therapists, the UK’s leading professional beauty trade body, for membership and insurance purposes.
Once you have paid the enrolment and theory fee of £25, you will be able complete the theory modules for the course right away. When you have successfully completed your practical training, a GTi Certificate will be available for you to download or purchase on your portal.
